- The village has a simple , rural life.
- Most of the houses are made of bricks and mud , and in some places, cement and concrete houses are seen.
- Women actively participate in agricultural work alongside men.

Changing life in Shelu village:-
- The young generation goes to Nashik or Chandwad for higher education after 10th and 12th standard.
- migrate to cities (Nashik , Mumbai , Pune) for employment.
- Mobile networks and internet have now reached the village.
Folk art and entertainment:-
- Bhajan-Kirtan , Kirtan-Goshti is still alive.
- Bullock cart racing , kabaddi , kho-kho , and cricket games are the pastimes of the village youth.
- Tribal society has a tradition of drumming and dancing.
